Red is a colour that appears a lot in different food. It is also a colour that is associated with various emotions, symbols and themes.
Specifically in food photography, the way colour is shown affects how someone reacts to the food subject. Does it make your mouth water or your stomach churn? What sort of emotions does it evoke?
With the colour red as my inspiration, I created this food photography series that features red in its many shapes, forms and textures.
