Y2K inspired frappe drink photography
I can’t believe that the noughties are now considered ‘retro’… I remember the days carrying around my portable CD player, sporting my handmade friendship bracelets like it was just yesterday.
That whole millennium era holds so many fond memories for me that it inspired me to create this frappe drink photography series. I took inspiration from the colours of my childhood, obsessive use of MSN messenger emojis and the innovation that was word art.

Each shot in this Y2K-inspired frappe drink photography series is carefully crafted to evoke the spirit of the era. I wanted the compositions to be fun and adorned with colours reminiscent of Lisa Frank stickers and gel pens (remember the smelly ones?).
